Dear Readers and Supporters: Last March I told you about an anonymous long time friend and supporter of this ministry who fell on hard times, and a generous portion of you volunteered to help her financially to prevent her eviction and car repossession. Unfortunately, once again she and her child are in a similar difficult position, though a little bit worse. I hate to see this happen to her and not try to help in any way. So if once again you can help out with a financial contribution, it would be greatly appreciated. You can contribute to her through the link below. My hope is that we can raise around $3000. Thank you.

A Wondrous Appearance of Saint Nikephoros the Leper in Athens in 2019

The following took place at the Church of the Pammegiston Taxiarchon of the Greek Police at 96 Mesogeion Avenue in Athens - Ampelokipoi. The priest of this church has recorded the following testimony of a wondrous appearance of Saint Nikephoros the Leper that he experienced at this location on his feast day in 2019.

On the morning of January 4, 2019, the feast of Saint Nikephoros the Leper, Matins was performed by the preacher of the Security Corps, Archimandrite Nektarios Kioulos. In the center of the temple, the icon and a piece of the relic of Saint Nikephoros had been placed.

At the end of Matins, an unknown monk entered the Holy Bema, greeted Father Nektarios and sat down in a corner of the Sanctuary. When the priest asked him where he came from, the monk replied, "My name is Nikephoros and I come from Crete to visit my spiritual children." At that time, there was only the priest in the temple with two helpers who also served as chanters. As Father Nektarios stated, as soon as he returned to the Sanctuary after censing with the katsion for the First Hour of Theophany, the unknown monk had disappeared and a wonderful fragrance had overwhelmed the sacred temple.

We remind you that in the church, which is controlled because it is relatively small, there were 5-6 people who did not notice the presence of the monk, while only the central entrance of the church was open. We thank the Saint and pray that he will protect and bless us all.
